(August 5, 2020) – Patrick Lundy & The Ministers of Music (PL&MOM) release the first single, “Way-Maker” from their 9th CD of the same name at the 87th National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses, Wednesday, August 12, 2020. “Way-Maker” was recorded “live” on the occasion of PL&MOM’s 25th Anniversary on November 9, 2019, at Reid Temple A.M.E. Church, Glenn Dale, MD., where Rev. Mark E. Whitlock, Jr. is Senior Pastor. Produced by award-winning Cedric Thompson, the single features lead vocals by Roderick Giles and songwriter Jesse Williams and is accompanied by a concept video. "Way-Maker" will be available August 14 on all digital and streaming music platforms. This dynamic global choir officially debuted in November 1994 and consists of some of the most outstanding vocalists in the Washington Metropolitan Area and the state of Georgia, many of whom are ministers of music, choir directors, music educators, soloists and ordained ministers of the gospel. The group has appeared throughout the United States and abroad and accompanied a virtual “Who’s Who” in gospel and secular music for a myriad of prestigious events and venues.
