During doctoral studies at Liberty University, Damian Price sensed there was a need to write about the life and music of Dr. Margaret Pleasant Douroux of Los Angeles, CA. Her contributions to gospel music have been great, composing hundreds of songs that have become standards in the African American church. Thus, the academic world needs to know that.
